What this statement is saying is if we don’t have a goal we may end up being a failure in life. Just like a ship if a ship doesn’t have a rudder it may end up crashing and not reaching any destination. For example if we don’t have a goal we will not accomplished anything in life just like a ship if it doesn’t have a rudder it will end up somewhere in the world.
